Created by Paul McGregor, the shag features uneven layers all around which gives the hairstyle a subtle lift. It’s an abstract cut that showcases a lot of movement and vigor. Jennifer Aniston created a whole new standard for the cut when she debuted the infamous “The Rachel” shag back in the mid 90’s. It’s a far cry from the spiky version of the 80’s shag but still just as iconic.
