We assure you that no hair was harmed in the making of this hairstyle. Replace the trimmer with generous amount of hair gel on both side sections, make them really sleek and shiny, comb them towards the back of your head and secure with bobby pins just bellow the crown. Depending on the length of your hair, you might need to twist these sections inwards before securing. Curl the rest of your hair with large barrel curling iron, tease it a bit at the roots to amplify the volume, set the waves to the side, apply loads of hairspray and there you go – punk glam look without hair sacrifice!

  1. Apply a conditioning mousse all over your damp hair before blow-drying…
  2. Create huge curls using hot rollers. Leave a two-inch gap from the roots when you roll them up to make that portion remain straight…
  3. Remove the rollers then do a deep side part…
  4. Shape the curls using your fingers to one side…
  5. Clip the back portion to hold the style then mist it with hairspray. Run a blow-dryer over that spot. Once the hold is good enough, remove the clip.
