It gave Delilah’s lover the strength to kill an entire army and wrestle lions (à la UFC); a supermodel committed suicide because of it; and politicians consider it part of their political strategy.
What is it that makes hair so important to the majority of the populace?
They’re only dead cells anyway, just like nails.
During Hillary Clinton’s 2001 commencement speech at Yale University, she emphasized on the one thing that earned her a standing ovation.
The most important thing I have to say today is that hair matters. Your hair will send significant messages to those around you. Pay attention to your hair, because everyone else will
--the lawyer slash ex-First Lady slash The Good Wife slash serial texter quipped.
That remark may appear shallow, even minuscule, for some. But what she said was downright true! Hair is very important and we should go to great lengths to protect our manes.
We’ve all read and heard that all too familiar answers as to why hair is important. Apart from its cosmetic purpose, hair plays other crucial parts in our lives that we take for granted, but when tapped, can be a potential source of power!
Show me your hair and I’ll tell you who you are
Your hair is your identity. It signifies your character and your profession, among other things. For example: if you’re sporting a shaved-side hairstyle, many will conclude that you’re either a beatnik artist or in an Amanda Bynes state of mind.
Before you even utter a single word, people can determine what music you like, the type of guys you stalk, what you eat for breakfast and even your Facebook status updates simply by looking at your hair. Your hair is your lifestyle! It’s as simple as that!

The 43-page guideline created a big buzz and mockery at the same time. In it includes how employees should care for their hair. They emphasized that great hair increases popularity.
Did it work? Well, a growth in all of the bank’s business segments was reported more than a year after. That includes attracting new money for their wealth management department.
Be careful about what you put on your head, because it just might mess up your hair.
--Hilary Clinton
Now before you conclude that your hair is nothing but a mere anatomical structure, think about the time you almost killed your hairdresser because of a bad haircut.
And also, remember these wise words from Mrs. Clinton: ”Be careful about what you put on your head, because it just might mess up your hair.’’
Fess up, ladies! How much do you love your hair?
