Waterfall Braided Bangs at Nanette Lepore Fall/Winter 2014 Fashion Show
If you’re itching for a subtle makeover, try tweaking a classic! In this case, do a waterfall braid in front instead of the back. Models at Nanette Lepore’s F/W 2014 runway sported a uniquely braided mane that can be easily DIY’ed!
- Mist dry hair with sea salt spray for better grip and texture…
- Do a deep side part, and then create a 4” section of hair in front – starting at the front hairline to the crown all the way down to the back of the right ear. Clip the rest of your locks to get it out of the way…
- Brush the section you created downwards (towards your chin) before dividing it into three sections…
- Start French braiding low starting an inch below the front hairline. Keep adding strands as you go lower until you reach the area above the ear…
- Secure the end with clear elastic before pinning it and covering it with a thick section of hair.
