Clotilde Courau’s Pompadour Updo

We’re saying yes to Clotilde Courau’s cool quiff updo! A heightened top with slicked out sides will not only level out round-shaped facial structures, it also evokes a hip, avant-garde quality.

How-to:

  1. While hair is slightly wet, apply a volumizing mousse all over…
  2. Blow-dry your mane straight, then blow-dry the front of your hair up and back to exaggerate the volume…
  3. Backcomb the top a bit…
  4. Warm a dollop of styling pomade in your fingers and glide it through the top…
  5. Shape the top into a chic pompadour before gathering the rest of your hair low at the back and doing a French twist.
