  2. Apply a dollop of curl-defining mousse all over damp hair

  5. Blast hot air all over your pinned curls for a few seconds
  6. When your hair feels cool, release the sections then finger comb

  1. To get salon-quality blowout, start by applying a small (too much will weigh your hair down) amount of heat-resistant styling cream all over damp hair. This will ensure that your mane will not get fried and will keep it shiny and soft right after blow-drying.
  2. Rough-dry hair using your fingers only. Make sure that the dryer is pointing downwards from the crown.
  3. Blow dry small sections using a large round brush. Pull the hair straight as you blow dry, and then roll the ends for good body.
  4. Blast roots with cool air right after you’re done then shake and scrunch your hair. You’re all set!

  1. Dirty hair (day-old) is easier to work with when doing updos. It will give the style the ‘grip’ needed to make it last.
  2. Mist hair with a volumizing spray then rough-dry using your fingers.
  3. Curl 2” sections using a clampless iron wand for 5 seconds then release.
  4. Once hair is cool to the touch, pick out thin sections of hair in front and at the sides before gathering the rest into a high ponytail.
  5. Jooge the ends of the ‘tail before coiling it loosely around the base (where the elastic is) of the ponytail, and pin.
  6. Twirl the tendrils a bit around your fingers and you’re done!
