Cheryl Cole’s Bouffant Updo At Cannes 2014

Cheryl Cole opted for 70’s retro glamour with her hairdo at Cannes Film Festival 2014. Despite heavy teasing on the crown required for bouffant, Cheryl’s lovely sunkissed hair is all but stiff in appearance, which is the legacy of 70’s paradigm on this hairstyle. Prior to teasing horizontal sections on the crown and back of the head, her hair was well prepared with blow drying and round brush, paying special attention to the sections around her face.  Then it was collected and tied in a low pony tail, leaving middle parted bangs loose. Pony tail was then sectioned, teased, smoothened, rolled into bun and secured with bobby pins at the nape. Hairspray is of utter importance for holding this hairdo in place.
